2015-2016 Transit 3.2L Diesel Engine Block Heater Information
Some 2015-2016 Transit vehicles equipped with a 3.2L diesel engine may be equipped with an engine block heater, even though the option was not ordered.
Do not submit a misbuilt vehicle claim for missing block heater wiring on these vehicles.
If a customer wishes to utilize the give-away block heater, wire harness CK4Z-6B018-E can be installed.

Adding the wiring is not a warrantable condition.
The block heater is an option and must be ordered when needed. An engine block heater is recommended when minimum temperature is -12 °C (10 °F) or below.
