Some 2005-2006 Focus vehicles built 4/6/2005 through 8/16/2005, equipped with a MTX-75 manual transaxle, may exhibit the gearshift cables detaching at the transaxle.

ACTION:

Replace the gearshift cables with current service stock. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 308-06.
