2016 Transit Chassis Cab Or Cutaway Vehicles Built On Or Before 12/11/2015 – Rear Parking Aid Camera Inoperative
2016 Transit Chassis Cab and Cutaway vehicles shipped with a Rear Parking Aid Camera as a loose item and built on or before 12/11/2015 will require C1279 to be connected to allow the upfitter installed rear camera to function.
C1279 is a 6pin in-line connector located near the driver side headlamp.
To access and connect C1279, remove the driver side headlamp assembly. Refer to Workshop Manual Section 417-01 – Headlamp Removal and Installation.
