Summary
Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 12.3 inch IPC display screen and no HUD may exhibit the IPC bezel misaligned to IPC display screen in lower left corner. This may be due to the locating holes in the instrument panel substrate for the IPC bezel. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to drill out the lower left side locator hole.

Issue: Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles built on or before 15-Aug-2023, equipped with a 12.3 inch IPC display screen and no HUD may exhibit the IPC bezel misaligned to the IPC display screen in lower left corner. This may be due to the locating holes in the instrument panel substrate for the IPC bezel. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to drill out the lower left side locator hole.
Action: Follow the Service Procedure to correct the condition on vehicles that meet all of the following criteria:
- 2023 F-Super Duty built on or before 15-Aug-2023
- Equipped with a 12.3 inch IPC display screen
- Without head up display (HUD)
- IPC bezel misaligned to the IPC display screen in lower left
Service Procedure
1. Remove the IPC bezel. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 413-01 > Removal and Installation > Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Display Screen – Vehicles With: 12.3 Inch Instrument Cluster Display Screen, Steps 1 through 11.
2. Drill out the lower left locator hole using a 7/16 in. (11mm) drill bit. (Figure 1)

3. Install the IPC bezel. Refer to WSM, Section 413-01 > Removal and Installation > Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Display Screen – Vehicles With: 12.3 Inch Instrument Cluster Display Screen, reversing Steps 1 through 11.
