Summary
Some 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles equipped with a factory subwoofer and built on or before 20-Mar-2023 may exhibit a rattle from right loadspace trim panel at high audio system volumes. This may be due to poor retention from the right loadspace trim panel tree fasteners. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the tree fasteners on the right loadspace trim panel.

Issue: Some 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles equipped with a factory subwoofer and built on or before 20-Mar-2023 may exhibit a rattle from right loadspace trim panel at high audio system volumes. This may be due to poor retention from the right loadspace trim panel tree fasteners. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the tree fasteners on the right loadspace trim panel.
Action: Follow the Service Procedure to correct the condition on vehicles that meet all of the following criteria:
- 2021-2023 Bronco
- Built on or before 20-Mar-2023
- Equipped with a factory subwoofer
- Rattle noise from the right loadspace trim panel at high audio system volumes

Service Procedure
1. Remove the right loadspace trim panel. Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-05.
2. Remove and discard the existing tree fasteners on the right loadspace trim panel then install the new tree fasteners. 3-door vehicles require replacement of 6 tree fasteners. 5-door vehicles require replacement of 5 tree fasteners. Refer to Figures 1 and 2 for fastener locations.
NOTE: The new tree fasteners will be blue in color.

3. Install the right loadspace trim panel. Refer to the WSM, Section 501-05.
