Summary
When replacing the transmission case on a 2020-2022 F-Super Duty equipped with a 10R140 transmission, the new service case may not come equipped with the transmission fluid leveling plug. To achieve proper transmission fluid level, a new transmission fluid pan and gasket must be installed (service part PC3Z-7A194-A). Refer to the 2023 F-Super Duty Workshop Manual, Section 307-01B to properly set the transmission fluid level when using the newer transmission fluid pan.
