ISSUE:
Some 2011-2014 Edge vehicles may exhibit second row manual folding seats that will not operate properly or are in inoperative.
The seat may be stuck in the fully up position.
ACTION:
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
- Remove the affected seat, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-10.
- Remove the inboard lower side shield to gain access to the cable and clip at the bottom of the seat backrest frame.
- Is the clip unattached or missing? (Figure 1)
