2014-2016 Transit Connect – PATS Security Access, New Coded Access
2014-2016 Transit Connect vehicles may require a new “coded” security access to gain entry into the PATS menu instead of the 10 minute “timed” access.
No action is required from you. The IDS will ping the PCM to determine which path to take (coded or timed access).
If a PCM is “coded”, IDS will advise you. Proceed with the “coded” access path and follow IDS screen prompts.
Make sure that you are connected to the internet and have your WSLx ID and Password available.
If security access is still denied, make sure you have the latest IDS update 97.02 and rerun the application again.
