2015 Edge – Key Fobs Inoperative And/Or Vehicle Will Only Start With Key Fob In The Back Up Slot – Built On Or Before 4/28/2015
2015 Edge vehicles can exhibit a concern with the remote key fobs being inoperative and/or the vehicle will only start when the remote key fob is placed in the back up slot.
Prior to performing any diagnostics, ensure Field Service Action (FSA) 15B21 has been completed.
Water intrusion related to FSA 15B21 can cause the remote key fobs to be inoperative.
If FSA 15B21 has been completed continue with normal diagnostics.
