2016 Workshop Manual Incorrect Wheel Lug Nut Torque Specification
The 2016 Explorer Workshop Manual incorrectly lists the wheel lug nut torque for the Explorer and Police Utility at 162 lb-ft (220 nm).
The wheel lug nut torque for 2016 Explorer and Police Utility remains the same as the 2015 Model.
The correct torque for the 2016 Explorer is 100 lb-ft (135 nm). The correct torque for the 2016 Police Utility is 110 lb-ft (149 nm).
The Workshop Manual is being updated to reflect the correct torque specifications.

I was wondering if the same is true for the 2016 Edge. The Edge manual also indicates 162 lb-ft of torque. I change and rotate the tires myself and can’t see myself even attempting to remove a lug nut by hand with 162 lb-ft of torque.
