ISSUE:
Some 2015 F-150 vehicles equipped with an original Ford accessory tailgate liner may exhibit a warped tailgate liner.
ACTION:
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
- Is the original Ford accessory tailgate liner warped?
- No – this article does not apply.
- Yes – proceed to step 2.
- Inspect the tailgate liner outer edges. (Figure 1)

- Have the outer edges of the tailgate liner been modified?
- No – proceed to Step 4.
- Yes – this procedure does not apply.
- Install a tailgate liner replacement kit. Refer to Section 3 – Warranty Coverages – Service Parts Warranty, of the Warranty and Policy Manual for ordering instructions.
- Refer to the installation instruction sheet included in the kit.
