2015 F-150 – Tailgate Sticks Closed When Attempting To Open
2015 F-150 vehicles can exhibit a tailgate that does not open without assistance when using the handle or key fobs.
The tailgate relies on gravity to open once the latch is released.
If the vehicle is not on a level surface, the tailgate may not open without assistance.
If the tailgate is remaining closed when on level ground, ensure the latches are releasing by gently pulling on the tailgate while trying to open.
If the tailgate opens with some assistance, then use Motorcraft Silicone Spray Lubricant XL-6
