2008 F-Super Duty vehicles built before 12/14/2007, Escape, Mariner, Escape Hybrid and Mariner Hybrid vehicles built before 12/17/2007 and equipped with electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) may exhibit an inoperative blower motor or a blower motor that may also shift to and remain at high, low or off speed.

Cycling the ignition may return normal operation.

The concern may also occur when using the electrical power point.

 

ACTION:

Replace the Blower Motor Speed Control.
