2014 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine and built on 9/14/2013 and through 2/14/2014 may exhibit illuminated malfunction indicator light (MIL) with DTC P2A01 (O2 Sensor Circuit Range/Performance- Bank 1 Sensor 2) stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) memory.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
- Using an Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) or equivalent Scan Tool check for DTCs. Is DTC P2A01 the only DTC present in the PCM?
- Yes – replace Bank 1 Sensor 2 Rear NOx12 Sensor.
- No – this article does not apply. Refer to the Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis (PC/ED) Manual for normal diagnostics.
