Summary
Some 2022 F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with the 6R140 transmission that have less than 5,000 miles (8,000 km) and built on or before 05-Jun-2021 may exhibit a fluid leak at the extension housing output shaft seal. This may be due to an extension housing output shaft seal. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the extension housing output shaft seal. NOTE: Extension housing replacement is not required for this repair.

Issue: Some 2022 F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with the 6R140 transmission that have less than 5,000 miles (8,000 km) and built on or before 05-Jun-2021 may exhibit a fluid leak at the extension housing output shaft seal. This may be due to the extension housing output shaft seal. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the extension housing output shaft seal.
NOTE: Extension housing replacement is not required for this repair.
Action: Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition on vehicles that meet all of the following criteria:
- 2022 F-650/F-750
- Built on or before 05-Jun-2021
- Less than 5,000 miles (8,000 km)
- Leak from the transmission extension housing output shaft seal
