2006 Fusion/Milan vehicles built before 12/9/2005, equipped with a 2.3L engine and automatic transmission, may exhibit a tip-in hesitation within the first 30 seconds after starting.

The concern may occur when coolant temperatures are between 50 and 100°F (10 and 38°C).

Chatter Shudder Binding Sensation Vibration During Low Speed Turns – 2002-2004 Ford Lincoln Mercury

2003-2004 Expedition, 2003 Navigator, 2004 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 9.75″ or 8.8″ limited slip rear axle, and 2002-2004 Explorer 4dr, Mountaineer, and Mustang vehicles equipped with 8.8″ limited slip rear axle, may exhibit a chatter, shudder, a binding sensation, or a vibration during low speed turns.

On 4X4 vehicles, the sensation may appear to be originating from the front axle or the steering gear.

Idle Vibration During Cold Start – 2005-2006 Ford Expedition

2005-2006 Expedition 4×2 vehicles may exhibit an idle vibration during cold start at 1400 RPM, that lasts for a few seconds.

The symptom is perceived as shaking of the entire vehicle when the engine is first started after being off for an extended period of time in warm weather in excess of a few hours, such as overnight, with ambient temperatures greater than 60° F (16° C).
