2014 Ford F250, 68K. Engine Indicator Light came on. Ford States Def Heater issue. $1200 to replace. My Extended Plan just expired.

My 2014 Ford F250 has 68000. The Indicator lamp came on. Ford says the Def Heater was the issues. Stated my truck was not covered under the recall. Warranty has run out (Naturally). Said cost to repair almost 1200 Dollars.

In reply to Ed Lightwood. MY 2015 F250 ALSO THRU THE P20BA CODE FOR THE REDUCTANT DEF HEATER. I ONLY HAVE 66200 MILES ON IT. WHAT PHONE NUMBER DO YOU HAVE SO I TOO CAN CALL FORD. THE EXTENDED WARRANTY SKIPPED MY MODEL YEAR ALSO, BUT COVERS 2015 F450 F550.
